Obamas rethoric has gathered support for his candicacy amongst the younger generations. His message for change has struck a nerve with young people in the US tired of the sitting administration and the policies of the republicans and the sitting president George Bush. The Youtube generation is embrashing him as their candidate for the November election. At least if the buzztrend on Youtube is anything to go by.
On Youtube Obama gets about 30 percent more buzz than his rival Clinton. What is in particular interesting about this, is that Youtube is the only source where we are measuring the buzz on the US election where Obama gets more buzz than Clinton. On other channels, like MSN and Attentio blogs, Clinton gets by far more attention than him. This is the overall picture. When looking at the different issues, however, that are linked to the different candidates, there are some political issues that are more closely linked to Clinton. For instance, Clinton receives significantly more buzz on the issue of illegal immigration: __________________________________ |
