Hillary seems to be catching up after the Texas and Ohio pirmaries. Obama seemed to be driving towards his candidacy, but as the final draws nearer, the race to become the democratic candidate is as close as it has been. Buzztrends different sources confirm this, as wellas the upward trend of Hillary as can be seen in the charts from AttentioBlogs, Moreover News and YouTube below (click to enlarge the image).

The question is what makes the vote again swing Hillary's way?
There are most likely as many answers as the there are people trying to answer the question, many are demographic of nature: she has appealed to the Hispanic community in Texas, she is gaining back votes from young voters. Other reasons heard are about caharacter and experience, Hillary is pictured as more experienced and reliable, Barack talks nice but can he deliver. Buzztrend has looked at the topics addressed by the two contestants, as indicated in earlier posts there seems little to choose on subject matter between the two. Since end of February ho9wever some of the sources we analyse have given some clues for a shift in attention from Hillary, playing the national security card, obviously an issue that concerns many Americans (especially after the consecutive Bush administrations and the events in the period). It is also an issue where experience and maturity could play a role. Both the Attentio Blogs and YouTube indicate a stronger focus on national security by Clinton, whereas Attentio indicates a shift of Obama, much smaller than Hillary's though. __________________________________ |
